Alive and kickin'... and incredibly blessed.

I'm a reasonably content baby boomer living a pretty good life somewhere in Arizona, sharing my life with a couple of goofy spotted dogs.

Although the perks are definitely better at this stage of life, it still shocks me to realize I'm now 50ish. How did this happen so fast!? Yesterday I was only twenty-something!

All things considered, though, life is good. All of the kids are grown, healthy, happily married with healthy, happy kids of their own.

Through it all I've been fortunate to have collected an interesting assortment of friends and characters who have enriched life greatly.

Through all of these experiences a bunch of stuff has accumulated in my head that you may or may not give a hoot about. Nonetheless, I want to share some of it with you via this blog.
